----- MARRIAGE -----

Souch—Curry

One by one Stettler’s business men are joining the ranks of the benedicts. The marriage of Mr. Mark H. Souch, hardware merchant, and Miss Hannah Curry took place Wednesday, April 15, 1908. The ceremony was performed in the Methodist Church by Rev. A. D. Richard in the presence of twenty friends and relatives of the bride and groom. After the twain had been securely united a wedding supper was served at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Souch, the groom’s parents. Mr. Souch who came here from Bowmanville with his parents was one of the earliest businessmen in Stettler, Alta., starting in the hardware business in partnership with Mr. Thorson whom he bought out last year. Through constant attention and care he has worked up a fine business, having had to enlarge his premises more than once. Miss Curry came here from Lake Side, near Blackfalds, about a year ago with her parents who have secured some land out east and made their home thereon. The newly wedded couple left the following morning for the Capital to spend their honeymoon carrying with them the best wishes of a wide circle of friends.—Independent.

Mr. Souch’s many friends and relatives in Bowmanville and Darlington unite in heartiest congratulations. Bowmanville States-man, Apr. 29, 1908.
